There is another style from millstone. On ebay for $100. Kind of a neat setup, looks like it mounts to firewall?

And what i built with 2000 Silverado pwr window set up.
Ebay listing pic, says for 53-55 Ford p.u.

Went out to the shop this morning and got the plasma out and cut this out...Still have a ways to go on it but it didn't take long to do this as I made a pattern yesterday and then modified it this morning while I was laying it out...... What do you guys think??
does it look to bulky?  This will eventually be covered in Ultra leather the same as what will go on the seats

Did some more work on my console...  Hand  formed the curve piece and cut out  side pieces... still a lot more to be done but at least it's warm enough to get out and  do something...still have to weld in other side

Fatnlow  I like it, there's plenty of room for floor vents, radio, swing out cup holders endless possibilities

I like the way it's turning out.  I was going to fab a small panel to go under my dash to house my heater controls.  I was thinking of slicing a quarter length wise out of some steel fuel line and tacking it around the bottom edge of the panel to add a radius.  Not sure what you're going to do about the sharp edge but just a thought.

Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Ed I don't know where to get that one, but.... I saved these from a flip rear seat (Dodge Ramcharger or mini van 2nd/3rd row seats).  Mine are probably around mid '80's, but salvage yards may have some later model (cleaner) ones. You are welcome to any of these, but the chrome ain't the best and a few scratches.  Just a thought in case you can't find any.

When your at the salvage yard, don't over look all vans with seating. I thought there was one with stainless steel bezels on the floor, Ford Aerostar?
Both my old Ramchargers came from farmers and they flipped the rear seat up and hauled hay and feed outa the back, thus the scraped up bezels. You might be able to find a local bike builder that does small parts chrome in shop.
