Looking at your build thread from the beginning it's come a long way.  Glad to hear you got it running without any trouble.  With the low mileage on the engine it should serve you well.  Keep it up!

So here's the suprise Ive been holding out on.
Ive been trying to keep the body as original as possible .
The car has park/marker lights mounted on the front fenders but I only had one that was just a shell
and dented up pretty bad. So while looking for some on e-bay to no luck. I found a glass that goes inside but the guy wanted $250 just for that.
So keeping with the moto "if ya cant find original, better get something damn close" .

I started looking at the old guide lights that has a marker mounted to the top. Gave me an idea.  :)

Original

I found these from OTB Gear .

Still gotta bit of work to do to the fender and wire it up.
Was also thinking of putting in a tiny led for turn signals inside.

The cool thing is  that they were just a bit shorter,  but still "close enough"

.

That will work fine!

I was looking for a set of those Guide marker lights to attach to my standard round lights...is that something you had or just bought?

Here's a link for ya.

Gonna be giving a call (this week)  to the glass-shop down the street and get an appointment set up for the windshield.

Finnaly sold my wrangler 2 weeks ago  :'( . So now thats outta the way and can divert my attention to the 32.

The front seat got installed . feels good to have that done .

Today I drove it to the glass guy.
What a fun and scary ride at the same time.  Did good for a few miles then I hit a big bump and experienced "death wobble" for a few seconds till I got on the brakes and slowed down  :o. Other than that it was a great ride (no windshield at 40mph)  .
Once I get it back mon/tues I'll address the D.W. issue. The shocks have no fluid so I'll fill those up and tighten down every bolt in the front and steering . If that dont do it, maybe a "trackbar" is next to order.

The one on top of the headlight looks like a 1934 Ford. The other ones on top of the fenders look like the clearence lights on top of the old tractor trailer, tractors. check out an old truck scrap yard i am sure you will find something on the roofs of the older trucks  mooseman

Got the car back from the glass shop today. I now have a windshield . 8)
I had a choice of a light green tinted windshield or a clear windshield .
I chose the tinted. Glad I did.

On the way home I had a "wobble" issue again but at 20mph . I think its coming from the R.F. tire. Seems whenever I hit a big bump its the right front . I kinda want to stick my action camera under there and get some video of it .
I'll post  pics when progress is made.

OK are guys ready for some pics!!!

The windshield done .
I rolled it up a bit. I love this vision/ventalation windshield !  ;D
The glass guy said he had done a ton of fords but never a roll up windshield. I said now you've done it all .
I let him have it for a few days cause I know things like this should never be rushed.

Since it was my B-day on the 19th I took the morning off work and got the registration done.
With new Antique license plates I was ready to roll. but...... I had to get a few things done first .

Next I put some motorcycle shock oil in the shocks . Disconnected the arms and pushed up and down on them till no airbubbles was herd in the resivour .

Then it was time to mount the rear fenders properly . Other than one bolt .
Now theres 6 each side .

Now onto the fun part I've been waiting for . Front Marker lights .

Passenger side all welded up and drilled ready to mount.

Drivers side still had the old mount I had to get off. Was glad to see the rust wasnt that bad under there and this side went a bit quicker .

So after much pondering I bought some a 3/4in LED's  to install with the 1155 bulb that comes with the kit. I tried an 1157 so I could have marker and turn signal in one bulb but... it wouldnt fit (too tall). There was enough extra room inside the housing for the LED .

At first I worried it would be tooo bright but this is just right (3/4" amber LED).
Marker lights on.

(Mounts were loose during the light testing) after mounts were tightened the gap at the bottom is gone.

(1155 clear)
Turn Signal's
They are really bright.

Drive it into the fall season, then go at the fenders one at a time.  Good looking gm body style rarely seen.

Are those Coker's new radial tires that look like bias plys? If they are how do you like them?

Great progress!
