Too bad the velcro didn't hold. Nothing wrong with trim screws, easy to use and they don't break off R&R the panels ;)

Screws look just fine. For what it's worth, I used newer style door panel clips. The heads get covered over by whatever you use for upholstery.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

The way around the non stick Velcro  too wood , would be to nail or small screw a material that the velcro will stick to , in the correct locations.  Problem solved ???

I'll let you know.  I ordered this one.  Should be in sometime next week.  Everyone I spoke to that has one was very happy with it.

Munch installed the one you're looking at.

Thanks..keep me updated....and I will get in touch with munch....I see that this one does not require a fuel return line and is good for the 150-400 HP range.....

Doesn't require the return line to the fuel tank but make sure you have room for the Fuel Command Center that you'll have to mount in your engine compartment.  I've attached the instructions below.

Tom .. If you run a fuel command center.... you need to  put it somewhere cool. These things are notorious for boiling fuel. With it being in the engine compartment plus the short run from throttle body to command center the fuel heats up. I had that problem on the first one I did . Ended up running return line.  Just a FYI.. Ron

I looked at the 3 different ways to install the FITech in my 33 and decided on using the in tank pump.  I spoke with quite a few guys that installed it on their rides and all were happy with it.  The main reason I went with the in tank pump is noise.  With a topless car I was worried that the noise from the fuel pump would bother me.  I spoke with @Munch on here who installed an external pump in his sedan and he said the pump wasn't that loud.  I did't pick the Fuel Command Center as my engine compartment just didn't have the room.

Yep. That's the best way. In tank pumps are pretty quiet.  Usually with the engine running you barely hear it. Ron.

Appears that the "fuel command center" works similar to the system in a diesel...the diesel low pressure "lift pump" delivers fuel up to the engines "injection pump".  In a carb'd engine the original low pressure fuel pump just delivers fuel to the fuel command center.

The diesel engines in my mid 90's GM trucks had a fuel return lines that were plugged and not used and I noticed that the lift pump was located in the exact same location as the metal fuel filter would be on a gas engine. Figure GM just ran both supply and return lines just to keep things simple and could be adapted on the assembly line for either a gas or diesel engine.

When I do my TPI and LT1 EFI conversions I learned to use only ACDelco inline pumps, the other aftermarket units are noisy.  Just try to mount the pump on some rubber and if possible close and lower than the tank.  Prefer the in tank pumps..best way to go.
