That looks like a good solid car. What are your plans for it?

Nice ride.  I like the 2 door sedans.  They make a nice cruiser.  Looks like you have a good plan.  Keep us posted.

Nice. I am sure she will love it. I like the three doors on the 33 hoods

Something else I like about the earlier hoods are those neat vents on the sides.  My '35 has those cheap looking vents that just don't quite look as though they are finished somehow.  But I guess in a car that only cost $485 in the first place you can't have everything.

Sounds like you are moving right along with the car.

I am not sure but I think MAYBE....rootlieb hoods in California might make the doored hood for 34--35 standards.

They make the doored 33 and 32 chevy hood, why not a special order for a 34-35, never know till you ask ????????

http://www.rootlieb.com/chevrolet-hoods.html

I checked they do not list any 34-35 with doors, doesn't mean they cannot do it ?
One of the problems would be the interior center bracing for hood handle.  The spacing of the doors would have to be done to accommodate that , as its also a stiffener.

Speaking of which,  I have pair of their plain side panels and without the stock 3 long louvers the front 1/2 area of the side panel buckles inward when you turn the hood handle to lock it down.  To correct this I bought some lengths of 1/2" square aluminum and used a 3M panel adhesive 2 part to bond it too the hood panel.

To do it properly you need the special application gun that's about $75 and special disposable tips.  This was not an in expensive fix !!!  Hopefully you could borrow the gun from a body shop who has one.

cocobolo=====you could always dress up the long vents by using stainless rod drilled and tapped to make it look like a 34 master. Not sure if they would be right length for a standard hood.
