Is anybody out there?
« on: April 17, 2013, 03:44:16 PM »
Where did everybody go.The post count is dwindling down close to zero. Somebody must have something to talk about. How's the car doing, the wife and kids, the grand-kids, your shop, yard work....anything? I guess it must be the improving weather letting you buys finally get away from the infernal computer. Just wanna make sure everyone is OK!

Moose ;D

Well, since you asked........My wife ran off with the mailman, my son got locked up for burglary, I lost my job and my dog got knocked up by the pitbull down the block. Now, the bad news is I have to take my exhaust system down so I can drill holes to bolt in my seats! This sucks!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Moose I was thinking the same thing today when I logged in at lunch.  Chopper sorry to hear about your exhaust!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Yeah Tom... if everyone was posting something then the site would be pretty busy.

Sorry you missed me moose. But I have been as busy as a bee. With yard work. In my spare time. I worked on my Bead roller,
Took the T out and washed it. Got it ready for spring. Took the street rod out and washed it. Got it ready and I had to take a
ride. And yes Moose after seeing your badge I know I had better have photos.

Time will spent...Looks like both of your cars are standing tall. That T could go right into Henry's museum!

I'm Here... Howdy Guys
Like Ghost ,Ive been in the house, the weather here in Colorado has been snowy .Although , we have been busy... My wife had back surgery and we have been dealing with that,,,She's doing Great now.....and things are getting better.
The 31 , well ,before the surgery ,I got the cowl off and started to measure ,take pictures and remove the stuff from the firewall.Other than that ,nothing done (no heat).
The 62 , well...got it back from Maaco..its painted...but...here enough dirt in the paint to mix a bag of cement. The doors aren't aligned (won't close)and the hood wasn't aligned either ,sits about a inch to high ...have had nothing but excuses and babble...
Anyway , after 2 months and over $4000 invested in Body Work and Paint....the battle continues on that...lol.
I made up some signs ,called a couple papers about interest in running a story about this, and checking with other sources to see if I can get them a bunch of Free publicity..
The 53 chevy...Talked to my neighbor down the street,Phil , and he's going to help me track down the electrical for my signals and brakes...did get that tuned up for the spring...
I guess it has been busy around here the last couple months...LOL. I will try and get some pictures up soon of all...

Sounds like you have a full plate! Too bad about the paint job. In my neck of the woods all of the local TV stations have investigative reporters who love to get involved with stuff like that. Nothing makes a business take care of a customer problem quicker that a mobile broadcast truck pulling up in front of their shop with a camera crew and a  guy holding  a microphone in his hand asking about why they won't correct their mistake. I hope you can get it resolved.
