They are already talking about shutting Utah down again.

Went camping over the weekend. Fishing on father's day was awesome. My dad and I caught 5 fish each. It was a good day.
I have PTSD.

We had breakfast with our sons Daughter in Law and grandsons in a restaurant in Reno for Fathers' Day.
Isn't fishing and camping the original social distancing? It sounds like you had a great time with your dad. My son has my grandad's Montgomery Wards fishing boat. We need to use it more!

Was thinking ..maybe we could start a "garage door pull" thread ;D

Here's one of mine I installed about 5 years ago so my young grandson could reach and grip it properly.

62131 be careful! EDNY is from NY so he can have loops in the ends of his ropes. You are from KY so you may not posses ropes with loops or make humorous references about the use of hoses. Someone you know might know someone who saw a Confederate statues and was not offended thus you are a racist. If you are allowed to have a rope at all it can not be longer than 2 feet and can only have a knot in the ends.  ;D

I went to a small car show at our local bar yesterday. Maybe around 50 cars, some real nice ones. Just about the time I should have been taking pictures the wind came up and began tossing the shade canopies and their concrete weights around. One missed my head by about 6". No one or cars were hurt but things thinned out fast. By the time we gathered and pack up what was left go the canopies only 3 cars were left. The #106 roadster built by Marvin Webb and raced at the first Bonneville event now owned by our friend Ralph, Leroy's Cad powered Topolino that he built in the early 60s and my old '53 pickup. Just before the wind cam up a guy brought has 5 year old grandson over because the kid had told him my old beater was his favorite car there. He asked if he could sit in it. He pretended to drive it for a while making all kinds of "car" noises. I started it up and he reved the engine a few times and asked if the could turn it off with the key. Neat little guy! The bar owner took him inside and in a minute he was back with a trophy. It was for the "Off Road" category. The owner said that in the 47 years I've been driving it it's done more dirt miles than any off road rig in the area. That may not be true but the underside has suffered much abuse. I also figured out on Friday how I could move five 16' pieces of  rail road rail that weigh 1/2 ton each. One old man on the mountain with too much to do.

Very cool, I'm sure that kid will remember that for a long time!

If we want them to grow up to be part of the hobby they've got to be able to touch them. Mine is always open to anyone of any age. They can't hurt it. I just wish he'd found a better example, set his sight a bit higher.  ;D

I put the new pump on my pressure washer today. I don't think the other one ever worked this well! I hooked up the sand blast attachment and gave it a second try.WOW, I love it! No dust,  long sleeve shirt and goggles are sufficient gear. It sets up fast and cleanup is just pulling the suction tube out of the sand and rinsing the extra sand off. The sand dues trail some, as far as the water splashes. I think it uses more sand but I could recover some of it with a tarp.
The first time it took a half hour to do these two spots on the front crossmember.

Today I did both sides 10-15 minutes. I think it is about as fast as a dry blaster. It is a little harder to see what it getting done.

I ran out of sand but got a start on the frame. I think the frame will take 1-2 hours.

Sixball coming out nice 👍 I forgot what is that year and model of your frame? My 34 Ford Sedan frame I had gone to a local steel structure company and drove to the back of the company and asked the steel workers if they would be interested in sandblasting my 34 Ford frame! They ended up sandblasting with picking up and delivery of my frame for $150 cash! Yeah under the table with their company!

Does a nice job! Seems to be just as fast and not as dusty as dry blasting. Just have to keep in mind flash rust. Reminds of the dustless blasting you see advertised on all the car shows

So my nephew calls me up and says the guy who he buys pigeons off of has a car sitting in a field that he just wants to "get rid of". He sends me this picture and asks if I am interested? I've heard stories like this before, but it's coming from my nephew......Of course I said YES! Now lets see, it could be a new project. ;D

Well, after a little back and forth, it seems the man that owns this car is not as quick to part with it as first thought. He wants to hang onto it a little longer, not even interested in an offer. I'll have my nephew keep at him, in a respectful way.
