My auto attention deficit disorder goes between a 34 Chevy 3 window,

a black with red interior 32 ford roadster

A 58 Buick 2 door hardtop.

Looks like a great outline to start.
Never underestimate the power of a lubricant.

Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

I agree it was a good buy.  It had been on EBAY for months for $4500.  I am the lucky buyer and the 1700 mile round trip to pick up the body in WA and a frame and rear fenders from BC for another $600 were well worth the drive.  Both sellers were very nice guys and now I have a very solid car to start my project with.  I even had some other parts thrown in that weren't in the listing.  I drove through rain and snow, but am home safe and sound and happy to get started.

Thanks guys.  I will do.  I actually have a 35 Standard 3W also, but the body needs a little more work and so when I saw this one I decided to go for it.  I was lucky enough to steal it.  All said and done though I do have both in complete steel except for the gas tank aprons.  For some reason those parts seem to be missing on every one I have looked at except those which have put a fiberglass one on.  Since my shop isn't insulated my work doesn't move as fast as I would like, but I will start by working on getting my frame set up the way I want, then move on to replacing all the wood with metal.  I expect that the project will take me awhile with all the other home projects and grand kids to enjoy also.  The one thing I don't have is the  metal gas tank cover (apron) so if anyone runs across one let me know.  I did come in contact with a seller on EBAY that said he has a source in Vietnam that made one for his coupe and he is looking at getting more.  I am staying in touch with him so I can see if the quality is worth pursuing.  He says it is, but I am one of those who have to see to believe.  Once I verify it I will post the info here.

I would have bid on the car...but the round trip for me would be well over 5000 miles!

I'd list any needed parts in the classified section...we do get a lot of traffic to the site...but obviously be careful who you deal with.

Thanks Ed, I know what you mean about watching who a person deals with.  I have been burned a few times in my life and it has made pretty leery of a deal that sounds to good to be true.
