This is great! I finished the wiring harness and I am ON THE ROAD!! All electrical accessories work as they should and I didn't melt anything doing it I put in the seatbelts (they were a must) and I have started driving it around the neighborhood......It runs, drives and stops better than I ever expected. But I have to confess, I think the anticipation might have been more fun than actually driving it.
Anyway, now I am moving into the interior and I need music. So, what have you guys done for a radio/CD? I don't think I want to put it in the dashboard. Has anyone put their radio in the trunk and used a remote?

Don't know if this will help any...just took a "shot in the dark" of my 34 Chevy coupe dash. Still set up as when I bought it, Canadian flag and all.  Previous owner just welded a panel on the lower dash panel.

Congrats on getting it on the road.  I've been following your build on the HAMB and I've got to say you've come a long way.  Nice work and I hope you enjoy your ride.  It's great to see another old Chevy back on the road.
As far as a radio I haven't thought about it for my car yet.  I have a friend that has an older car with an mp3 player hidden with a remote.  He seems pretty happy with it.  I did see a guy make a little extension under his dash in a 33 Chevy for a small radio and it didn't look out of place.

Tom, I think something tucked away, like your friend,  is what I want. I was playing around with an old radio today and I am already leaning towards inder the seat, or maybe under the dash, unless a remote will work from the trunk.. . . . . I'm confused
