Black Friday is a waste.
« on: November 25, 2022, 02:02:38 PM »
Decided to wait until today to get tires for the woman's jeep. Been looking for a few months.
I don't see any price difference on ANYTHING.
Even the buy 3 get the 4th free is just a scam.
You pay for that 4th tire.
Looking at other items as well. Holsters. Jeep stuff,
ect. NO deals.  :(
I have PTSD.

I've never shopped on Black Friday. I hate the concept. I don't even open the adds & emails from places I usually buy from.

I'm guilty of shopping a few years ago, but I don't do it anymore, people are just plain rude and obnoxious

Been encouraging my grandson's to visit our farm to do some deer hunting.  Told one of them to keep his eyes open on the way to my tree stand behind our barn this evening.  10 minutes into his walk & before reaching the stand he got a nice 7 pointer standing there looking at him.  His first deer!  Great Black Friday for all of us.

I don't do too much shopping and when I do I buy it when I need it after a little quick research. My wife on the other hand waits for Black Friday, she's come up with some good deals but says it's not like it used to be.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

That is great, good for him! Nice buck! It is funny how many deer I have taken after I gave up and was walking back to the truck. Where is the geographic point in the US where hunters start hanging deer head down?  :)

The only reason he is heads up is because we gutted him last night in the dark (on the tractor) and I just left him as is because it's so warm had to get him to the butcher ASAP this am.  Normally hang head down if the temp is mid 30's for a couple of days.
