Asked this question on The HAMB but can't get a direct answer.
Making my own wiring harness and have relays for the (2) speed cooling fan, hi/low headlights and electric fuel pump. Really don't want to wire another relay if not needed.
Would like to run a fused power line through the brake pedal (normally closed) to the 700R4 lockup solenoid...the tranny locks up via internal hydraulic grounding switch. Applying the brakes opens the switch, cuts power to the solenoid, unlocking it.
Do you think I can power the trans solenoid with just a fused line (no relay)? Some sample diagrams indicate that I could..-but- some also show a relay.
