I'm thinking about putting the interior in my 32, I have access to 4x8 sheets of foam core boards has anyone ever used this for panels?

Slow and steady Sixball…….. Big difference in that apron, Ed, looks great. Never used foam core boards, how thick are they? I might be concerned they would dent.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Still have to finish the interior in my 33.  If you use these, keep us posted.

I'm interested in that myself. I looked it up, seems there are a lot using it.

Maybe Rattiac has some insight on this. Maybe we can talk him into starting an upholstry thread  ;D   I know just enough to screw things up more than get it right.

I'll be back in the manufacturing facility Monday, ill get some pictures of what it looks like. The best thing is they give away their seconds so they don't have to send it to the landfill

Foam core boards. Hmmm. Interesting.
Mostly we use Luan or aluminum sheet. The suppliers have (what they call) water proof door board. It's a thicker black cardboard and I doubt is waterproof. You could paint the luan for waterproofing but it really isn't needed.

If it's stiff enough , im sure it could be used.
Most door panels are 1/8" thick.

This brings up a great subject though.
I've been trying to figure out the most lightweight way to build the inside of my cargo trailer conversion.
Things like lightweight cabinets, the bed and storage.
I may have to look into this stuff.

If your interested send me your address and Ill send you a few sample pieces. When i asked what it was used for I was told signs, wrapping mobile homes during construction I guess like a house wrap. They also make it 4" thick and then its covered with metal that is used to make insulated construction panels for buildings,

Im still years away from getting my interior done.
😉
Yesterday I took the cherry bomb off the jeep. Just didn't fit right and was pushing my tailpipe into the airbag.
Grabbed a turbo muffler with more of an offset.

The C.B. had a medium offset but wasn't quite enough.

For me the sweet spot is between what sounds good and what i want to listen to all day. As my hearing diminishes the sweet spot changes.  :D

The city got blasted with snow today. It's been a long time since we've had a good storm.
Hopefully more to come this week.

I've actually been waiting for the snow to pile up on the trails here. Maybe this weekend I can do a trail. Been trying to get the GF jeep out with me, she is gonna need chains to follow me.
I have plenty of recovery gear.
Should make for an awesome video. 😁

Sorry Rattiac, 60 degrees here, unseasonable but I'll take it!
