Hi Wayner! I've been out of the loop on Vette parts for quite a while. I guess you are looking for a complete original?  I think there was a small difference in the '61-'62 hoods, but I can't remember what. I've seen a few '59-'60 completes (within the last year) here and there going for $850-$1,300   Last one we had, picked up at a swap meet for $150 and dad sold it for $300....20yrs ago.

I called a guy that use to have one in Dodge City, but he sold it 10yrs ago. Getting old, seemed like 3yrs ago
You might try giving Pro Team Corvettes a call (419-592-5086), Napoleon, Ohio. They use to get spare parts  once in a while. Dad use to wheel and deal with Terry way back in the late '70s, he was a straight up guy.   Aftermarket hoods are availible, but with all the hardware to buy gets expensive.

  Sammons  I gave them a call The receptions told m Terry was down in Florida  he must be at Mecum action  anyways she took my number and when his brother shows up he will call back.Anyways i dont know what it is or if it really exists  but when one gets older  its time to put all the hot rod parts away and go back original.If only i had thought that 30 years ago  would probably save me a thousand dollars  lol lol  Wayner

Ok got a call today from MIKE  no he does not have one  anyone have or know of an original hood for a 1959 corvette  thanks  Wayne

Darn Wayne, I was hopeing they had one. It was a reasonable distance to drive to get. Mike has a good point, Hemmings. I think that was where Terry and dad got acquainted years ago.

decided to type into ebay usa ...SEARCH.............1959 corvette hood ... .............advanced search

came up with 2 used and one brand new hood and a whole lot of repo original hood hardware.

There ya go its there and available, open wallet select and auction and its yours
