Fishing
« on: March 13, 2013, 12:12:33 PM »
These shots were taken a couple of years ago up in Fairplay Colorado at Antero lake. My brother and I catching a few trout for the weekend cookout. Now that my legs are working again I want to get back up there...John

Nice fish John! Like Moose said we still have snow on the front lawn up here in New England.  Soon my son (who isn't into cars) and I will get the boat out and do some bass fishing.

My Dad was a great fisherman, I was the kid throwing rocks in the water. I'm not too big on fishing......but I don't mind eating them.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Tom . I don't do boats of any kind. I have this fear of deeep water mostly above my head stuff. I remember when I was a lot younger not only throwing rocks, but also M80s in some of the canals up at red feathers lakes. Times were definately a lot simpler then, but now I would make the terror list for something like that. I do love the sitting and just solving the worlds problems kind of attitude of a warm afternoon with my brothers though...John

Kinda wondering how life is out your way...seems that your state is making the news lately..you must have a bunch of transplants that moved in to turn you folks upside down!

New York isn't any better!

Here's my son with a 3 lb Small Mouth Bass he caught last year on a local lake.  I have as much fun fishing as I do driving our Ranger Bass Boat at 55 MPH across the lake!  It's my Hot Rod on the water!

Guys that don't fish just don't get what fishing is. I started fishing when I was four.
