Those should bite good. When my brother gave me the '03 Silverado, he said he had his Calif. tire store put on new m+s on it. He said it didn't look like it. They are marked as such, but look like straight highway. They do nothing. If I had the need to get around in the winter I would get an extra set (4) skinnier wheels and real snow tire for rear.

Love Yellowstone!  We will be returning this summer.
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Many years ago a park ranger told me about people putting there children on bear's backs at the West Yellowstone dump. It's a "park" the animals must be tame, right?

We wanted to go back this year but buss-loads of Asians is a big turnoff  :o. (Yeah I said that)
So I picked a very remote spot for our trip this year .
My family is pushing us to go to Bryce NP. Hell no to that also. One of my cousins bought a RV  park in Escalante.  While I'd like to see them,  I hate being  5ft away from another RV unless im just passing through.

Need to replace the fuel pump in the jeep before the trip.  Already have a square hole cut in the floor for this.
Tried to get my dad to go camping but he's sooo  covid-paranoid it's crazy.

Bryce is a beautiful place but it's either spend a day driving the top and looking down of spending a month and walking your ass off.  ;D Escalante is cool too. One narrow stretch of highway along a ridge top reminds me of some of your videos. I'd hate to have a flat thought that part. I need to take a drive! :)

It was beautiful scenery. But the lady at the gate took her government job way too seriously and told me I needed to park my little tiny teardrop trailer in the parking lot.  I said seriously???,   she replied No Trailers.
Well we went to the parking lot and not a spot to be had.  So we continued up the canyon 😄.
Later a ranger parked by us and didn't bat an eye.
The bed of his truck was full of hail (to the top) from a nasty thunderstorm at the end of the loop.

We have created a system that demands millions of competent people to fill the spots to make it work. Our schools do not turn out competent people. Just take a look at those in the "top" spots and you can imagine the trickle down effect. By the time you get to a ticket seller at a National park it sometimes pretty bad, add authority to that and it can spoil your day.  ::)

I've never seen anything like this. Usually that much fire is not a good thing.

I started out doing some winch research this morning and ended up watching a few of this guys videos. He travels some of the same country you do. Some amazing recoveries.

Unfortunately, they just closed ATCO Dragway. It was about 20 miles from my house in Atco New Jersey, a very popular raceway on the east coast. I went there many times racing my Mustang and as a spectator, as a kid and adult. They say it is now going to be a auto auction facility.  :'(
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn
