i want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandpa.

Don't worry Billy...50 is so far back in my rear view mirror that I need to put on my bifocals to see it but I'd still be up for a little Mad Dog 20-20. Its all in the frame of mind 8)

This year I'll be 60 and happy to be there, after this last year and all my medical problems. I still act like a kid when it comes to hotrodding and funnin around. Acting like a kid in your hobbies is what keeps you young.
 Happy upcoming birthday Billy

Can't believe how old everyone (except me) looks at my age! ;)

I turn 62 tomorrow but according to our President - the world will end on my birthday!

I'm 55 and enjoying it.  Last night I played ice hockey with my son and some of the kids I coached when they were 8 - 14 years old.  Still had enough in me to get a couple of goals.  You're only as old as you think you are  :).

PS. Happy Birthday Ed!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Happy birthday, Ed! And happy upcoming birthday, Billy! I will be 54 next month and, I too, still feel (and sometimes act) like  I am 16. But I must admit, I have 4 boys; 8, 11, 13 and 18. They keep me going and I am loving it........although, sometimes, I wouldn't mind being 16 again.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

I turned 70 this past October.  Turning 40, 50 and 60 didn't bother me as much as this one did, for a while.

Then I looked around and saw many people younger than me were already gone.

My Dad died at 38, but my Mom celebrated her 92nd birthday today.
There is still hope.

As long as I can still go to my shop and ride my horse in the summer, it will be OK.

I guess I'm the youngster so far. I'll be 49 in May, the wife just turned 50. I have an 18 y.o. boy and my daughter will be 14 this summer. Preparing the boy for college has taken at least 5 yrs. off my life expectancy.

This june I'll be 71. My son was at the house the other night. He told me. I'am going to be 50 in 3 years. Why don't we take a week off .
With the boys and canoe the Allagash  or the upper Connecticut. Fishing and camping for 80 or 90 miles. I told him sounds good to me.
So I will be giving up the cars for week.

Good for you! BTW our NY dictator Governor is taking our guns away and now requires me to go through a background check to buy "one" bullet.  But he plans on lowering hunting/fishing license fees for both resident and non residents.  He also wants to make the license good for a 12 month period beginning when it is actually purchased instead of the current fiscal date setup. P.S. still hate the guy very (very) much!

This November I will turn 58 and feeling like I'm still 30 except for moving a little slower getting up and down. Still have late nights in the shop and on the neighbors patio having a few adult beverages and eating something off the grill.
