Father's Day Show Fitchburg Ma 2016
« on: June 19, 2016, 01:53:14 PM »
The past few years my daughter has accompanied me to the Mid-State Antique Auto Club Fathers Day Antique & Classic Auto Meet in Fitchburg Ma.  Today was forecast for a beautiful day in the 80’s so at 8 am we started on our hour long ride south.  When we arrived a little after 9:00 the parking lot was almost full.  They had a great turn out, probably over 250 cars.  We got to sit and chat with Don (32chevy vett) and had a great time.  It helped that Don’s car club put on the event and he had a nice shady spot.  Thanks for the hospitality Don!  All the proceeds went to the Monty Tech School where the show was held.  Here’s a few pics from the show.
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

A couple of Rusty Bowties ;D  Sorry for the blurry picture of mine but the new chrome on the grill looks great!
Had a great ride home in time to spend the afternoon with my Dad and my grand-kids!
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads.

Some nice cars I like the woody too. A friend in high school bought a '47 from an old commercial fisherman who treated it like his boat a brush painted it every few years. The last coat on the wood was pink and the metal was black. We teased Roy pretty bad. It took weeks to get it stripped down. The wood was like new and the metal was perfect. We envied Roy pretty much. :)

Very nice, but I don't see any pictures of your car!! I like the '56 Pontiac wagon.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn
