A cool old motor home
« on: May 15, 2016, 11:24:17 PM »
A friend just bought this old 72 winabago for agood price it has 19.000 miles on it and was garaged most of it's old life. He did change the split rims and added some new tires, roof air, and a new generator.  He is gonna pull his 29 ford hiboy with it. Man I would love to have it for a fishing trip now and then.

You sure can tell it's from the 70's look at the colors of the interiors

That's a clean ol dude.  ;D  My dad and uncle bought an early 70's Winnabego like that back in the mid 80's to go to the Chickasa and Dallas swap meets. My stepmom reupholstered all the seats/curtains (due to age, stitching coming apart).  It had a 413 Mopar,  they said it wasn't that bad on gas. Like 9mpg w/ trailer.

A time capsule, that is cool! I am working on an 18 foot '69 travel trailer but it did not come through that nice.

Kind of reminds me of Christmas Vacation :)
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Now I didn't think of that, but now that you say it I can see the sewer glowing green.

Nice RV Ghost!  That is a funny movie ;D
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!
