Mike...Going with the '34 dash.... Wife Wanted  her gauges  on the left side ,in the middle of the steering column. She really likes the  2 large gauge clusters, like the 0nes for '51-'52 Chevy , the moon eyes one
Also gives her a glove compartment to plug her I-pod and other electronics in

EXCELLENT CHOICE, THE 33 MASTER AND THE 33 STD---35 STD , 34 MASTER , ARE ALL SAME WIDTH.

I TOO WENT WITH A 34 MASTER DASH WITH GLOVE BOX AND FACTORY CIG/CIGAR LIGHTER.

MY 35 CHEV STANDARD SERIES ROADSTER, THE DASH IS 15/16" WIDER PER SIDE.  I HAD TO ADD THAT WIDTH PER SIDE TO THE METAL DASH , TO FIT THE WOOD FRAME UNDERNEATHE.

MY PLAN IS TO PAINT THE DASH BLACK NITRO LACQUER, BUT THE GLOVE BOX AND GAUGES INSERT, PLUS AREA IN CENTER WHERE 3 MOLDINGS GO AND THE 2 UPPER RECESSED AREAS & GLO9VE BOX LID , WILL ALL BE FLAT OR A SATIN BLACK.  I SAW THAT 2014 AMBR WINNER THE 35 CHEV TOURING USING THAT EFFECT ON QUITE A FEW PARTS.  SAID THATS FOR ME, MIKIE LIKES IT.

LAST NIGHT ON EBAY I BOUGHT A 1933 CHEVROLET MASTER DASH GAUGES INSERT COVER THAT I THINK WILL FIT MY CLASSIC INDUSTRIES , VINTAGE SERIES GAUGES.......SPEEDO ...TACK....3 INCH CLOCK.  IF DOESN'T FIT MASTER GUAGE AREA, WILL FIND A NEW HOME FOR IT.

Mike,,What are your plans for  oil, amp and temp gauges?  This the reason for using the 51-52 chevy gauges,,,  I Need to do more research on the gauges,,,mainly size  and fitment issues.  and again I still have an open mind on other gauges that will compliment the look I am looking  for.....But again what Mommy wants she'll get what she wants
