With one of the first metal flake paint jobs 1961.I've done 5 ground up model Ts.and a VW. Took 8 years to build my  32 Chevy.             I plan on doing sum black smithing. Welcome to the site Don.  Love the cool 32 Roadster and the garage!  Is there more stuff on the inside of the garage?

Don

Wondering where and/what you hunt in Mass.  I have an old farm with 60 acres which is convenient..about a 10 minute walk to my treestand. Been planting trees and blueberries out back, restoring the farm house/ barn and working on my cars since retiring.

Glad to hear that you are still hunting out there..Mass is a tough state for gun owners. Looks like NY will be tougher next week if the Gov gets his way. He has a draft bill that will classify a "pump rifle" as an assault gun and make it illegal!!!

(description deleted)

Here's  a link to the NY Draft:

http://open.nysenate.gov/legislation/bill/S1422-2013

The AR has been around since 1958 but a couple of mental wackos have screwed it up for all of us.  I have over -35- years in law enforcement and will probably be hunting with ball and cap next year the way it's going.

BTW: My deer rifle is a TC Encore Pro Hunter stainless in 280 Remington

My son just bought the same gun for coyote, Bush master AR-15 with a 5 shot clip and a new type of scope. He hunts coyote  for the government. And for fun. He has been hunting NY. for 5 or 6 years now. We were going to NY. to run the dogs. But the guy he was going to hunt with. Was going to Iowa to hunt. I was going to film the hunt. I haven't been able to hunt for the last two years. I had a detached retina in my right eye. Then I got a cataract in the same eye. My eye is still bad I will need a 3ed operation. I was going give a gun to my grandson. But there is so much red tape BS.

Welcome 32chevyvette, from Philly! Although I am not a big gun collector or hunter, I have been in law enforcement for 32 years and I see the writing on the wall. If Washington had their way you guys would be using slingshots! Do any of those guys read the Constitution? Sorry. Anyway, welcome and I hope you will be out hunting soon!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

I want to thank all of you for the warm welcome. And it's great to see a few chevys out there. I go to a show and it's lonely in an old chevy.
And believe me it's real lonely in a roadster.

That's exactly why I wanted a 30's Chevy.  When I go to a show I know there won't be a whole row of them.  Hope fully you'll have some company this summer at a couple shows.

Well it looks like your won't be coming to NY with the AR...as of today..it's officially an "Assault Gun" and needs to be registered in NY.  BTW: My S&W -8- shot revolver is now an "Assault Gun" and I am only allowed to load -7- rounds in the 8 shot full moon clip!
