Great news from Ed and the team at Rusty Bowtie
« on: September 02, 2014, 08:21:12 PM »
Hey Guys great news... Ed has graciously offered to supply membership stickers to everyone who is a member of the Rusty Bowtie. The only cost to us will be to supply Ed with a self addressed stamped envelope to cover the cost of shipping and Ed will absorb the cost of producing the stickers. What other forum can offers that. Just another example of what sets our site apart from the rest. In talking with Ed about what we needed to do to get the ball rolling the question came up  whether the stickers should have the adhesive on the front so that they can be to the inside of your window or on the back to so that they could be applied to something like a bumper. We will probably end up ordering a combination of both types so rather than guess on the ratio we decided to ask the members in the form of a poll. Once we have an idea of where were going with this I will post all of the details of how each member can get their copy of the stickers . Below is a image of the sticker.
  Thanks

Moose

Sticky on the front and can we buy extras?

I'd pitch in so I could get one of each.

Great looking sticker. Once the type of sticker is decided, I would be willing to purchase a couple. Nice way to promote the site.

Sticky on the front, please. I would be more than willing and happy to pay for the decal, it's enough that Ed is just willing to give his time. Thanks, Ed!!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Hey guys...looks like this first batch will all be sticky on the front..they wanted another $50 set up fee to split the order.

Decals are oval shaped 2" wide by 1.5" tall.  Let's see how this first batch goes.

33 Chevy 5 Window, 34 Chevy 3 Window, 37 Chevy 4dr sedan

Thanks Ed, just the right size. I would be willing to send you an extra $5-10 bucks for the later split order, just let us know.

Maybe if all works well, in the future you could look into T shirts/ cowl tags?

Thanks again, Sammons
