Pulled the old Scat-Trac tires off, found a nasty suprise inside. The tires haven't been off since them and wheels were new around 1973. So stripped the paint back off the front center section and went to his freinds big glassbead cabnet for a full clean up of rust on the inner hoops. Got that all cleaned up and time to repaint. Painted back with dull aluminium, the inside hoop bright silver and the out side centers black again. I think they turned out great.
