Another Pontiac convertible. This is the sister car to the red car I did awhile ago.  Parisienne I believe it's called.  Anyways he had it at another shop getting work done and one or more employees broke the back window and stole the amp/speakers.

Pic 2 .
Is a ratrod that had no business driving on the road.
His rear axle was moving sideways when he turned.
What a pile of  💩. Everybody was trying to get away from this guy.

I love those 60's big Pontiacs.  They had some nice style to them!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

A good buddy of mine, that's all he drove was Parisiennes, 4 door no less. We used to call the grandfather cars, but he loved them.
I wouldn't call that a rat rod, I would call it ratsh...t!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Glad you got it out for a drive.  🙂
88° here right now, but 50s tomorrow with chance of morning snow🙄

I still haven't touched a car. A younger friend picked up a 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible project, got it on the cheap. 389, w/tri'power, 4 speed, PS, PB. Lucky SOB😁

Finally found me a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, going to build a hunting rig out of it, 156k miles and a solid body. Runs and sounds great, front-end needs rebuilt Anyone have any good advice on them

I had a '95 Grand Cherokee. 4.0 inline 6 auto trans and the real 4x4 setup. I liked it the best of all of our Jeeps. Had to get rid of it after hitting a "wild horse". It snowed here yesterday about 1 1/2" in the low 30s today. Ordered new tires for the back of my pickup. It is needing some TLC.

Snow here also.  About 3" on the grass.
On the Cherokee,  CPS sensors are known to fail and cause no start or just shutdown at a light like mine did, it would restart though. .  Replace with a good Napa unit and keep an extra for long travels.
You can put in a pucker lift (2") and longer shocks and be done.  Or a rear traction aid and be darn near unstoppable.

Cool GTO.

Upholstery is time consuming.  Take your time, you'll be glad ya did.

Would a 95 Cherokee (OBD1) have a distributor and not use a crank sensor? If so, easier to trouble shoot.

Mine has a distributor and the crank sensor.
If it has it,  should be located on the trans bellhousing driver's side.  . Can get to it using a few long 1/4" drive extensions and a 11mm socket.
Not sure if I removed the front driveshaft or not.

Keep at it, you'll get there😁  I use to buy interior kits from Harmons Chevrolet in Geneva Indiana before they sold out in '95(?). Great quality and price for 1950's up. You could order complete stock kits or just components. Always ordered the presewn except for door panel/ sunvisor part vs more money for pre sewn/assembled door panel. Simple cheap vs custom shop work.

Stopped at the shop today, Tom fired up the '58 LCF truck for me. Runs sweet, very responsive throttle and light lope on the cam. He put in an RV low rpm torque grind cam. Running a Quadrajet 4 barrel. Found a good deal on a 2.5" stainless steel exhaust tubbing w/bend pieces kit on the net. Run duals probably 12' back with long tube Thrush glasspacks. Sounds really good, but the sound coming out just doesn't match the look of an old fadded wheat truck😁
