Horns.

Recently we had a 37 Pontiac in our shop with the lowest, Loudest electric horns I've ever heard. Just like a semi truck air horns.
He said they were "town and country" horns.
After trying to tune the 32's horn so it doesn't sound like a Honda.
It sounds a bit lower but not much adjustment I could do.
After talking with Sid about those. I ordered the cheapest pair I could find. Can't wait to get em.
What other horns do you guy's like that sounds like a "man's horn" ?

Nah, in 37 they had a horn option for people who lived out in the country with a louder horn as well as the city horn known as the "Town & Country horn". If you tune em right and 12vlts make for a really loud low trumpet sound. Similar to air horns.
FatnLow. I bet that's fun. 😊

In the '60s I had a '40 Checy pickup that had air horns mounted on top with a big tank under a running boarb. Ugly as hell but fun except filling the tank. I took them off after the fun wore off.

Mine showed up yesterday.
Had my eye on another set but his shipping was more than the horns. Plus he soaked en in wd40.
Found another unmolsted set with cheaper rates.

New horns sounds like fun,
Rattiac
.
Since you do youtube, you could upload horn sound samples.
I don't have any horns for my Buick, I'd like to have train horns, though I don't know
where I'd actually put them.
The american style train horns sound awesome, I never heard anything like it other
than on youtube.

Yesterday I received another set of horns. Took off the bell covers and one was full of rust. These I'll send back
The 1st pair looks good inside and hooked up the charger to test and they worked. Now I need to go through the wiring and relay and replace all that.
The bracket will work with the radiator support rod's but my hilborn scoop is in the way. For now I'll set these aside and finish up other projects but at least they work .
Essex:::
That's one of my other projects is my computer is old and won't accept video anymore. My dad had bought a new PC just before he got sick and I'm in the middle of switching over to that.
Had the computer shop look at it, said it was brand new with a ton of memory. Still has warranty and virus protection for life.
Have one last video to produce before I switch over.
