Been awhile since I've been here. 32 has sat since the funeral, last started in July. Due for another cold start. Winter started already.
Sooo much done and just barely getting back to my life. Fill yall in when I get some time.

Nice to have you back,
Rattiac
.
I've watched your videos on youtube during summer, taking in some inspiration.
I like that Pontiac.

Thanks guys . This summer blew by and now it's winter.
Took a few months to clear out his house and get things sold.
He had boxes of paperwork bills, ect since 1982 saved. Still burning those on campouts. Was able to sell the RV, truck and get his jeep paid off. It sat awhile before I registered it. Little 2.0 turbo with auto 8 speed. Quick for a jeep.
The repairs started. Had a few rooms repaired, repainted and the basement painted. It was just drywall.
Closet doors missing from his previous remodel , replaced all of those. Touched up the gutters and trim on the outside.
New carpet installed.
Plumber's came and went through all the leaks.
Then the yard work began.
Once we had a offer on the house, the new buyer had it inspected and then brought in other contractors, they did some damage and we threatened to sue him for the damage.
Finally sold the house and now I still have the vette and my Cherokee to sell. I'm parked outside cause I ran out of room here, XJ is being stored at work till that sells but right now things are not selling. Been slow at work since the GV shutdown.
Once a month I'd take a break from the house for Bonneville.
Speedweek we ran 138mph and it wouldn't accelerate. Tuner came by and added more fuel but the salt is thin and too rough to run.
He had me jump in the driver's seat while they fired it up. I was hesitant at first but got in anyway. Scary and exciting.
Speed Demon went airborne at only 250 and killed the new owner.
Went to every event except the motorcycle BMST.
Our team didn't make it to any other event since SW.
At home I had my dad's compressor, so I ordered up a airline kit and now have air at 3 locations in the garage. Sure beats my lil 12gal unit.
Last weekend we went up to Sid's and sewed up a cover for the front of the streamliner to protect the windshield. We had some damage from a microburst that came through and even broke my new awning on the cargo trailer. Since has been repaired.
So now I'm trying to get a few small projects done to make room.
Dad's JL jeep got a new bumper I still need to mount and winch installed. We named his jeep (Captain Ron) after him and one of his favorite movies.
Poor 32 has sat since the funeral and started it up in July, probably should start it today.
Life....

Good to have you back. Sounds like a busy summer. You did your dad proud and keeping his Jeep is a cool tribute.
Been busy here too mostly working on house with a friend I hired. The only car things are my wife's new Grand Cherokee. Now we have the 2014 trail Rated one to sell. Don't even know how to do that.
Then cool thing is I drug my 1970 Blazer off the hill to put back on the road. It has a broken Dana 20 transfer case and a rusted out gas tank for starters. Pack rats made a mess but did little damage.

I'm glad you are getting it sorted out, it's a lot of work that other family members don't understand.
Sixball, glad you got the K5 back out. Those are so cool!

It makes me smile every time I walk by. Hopefully by spring and maybe sooner. It was my first new car. Every thing wrong with it I did. Well except for the bondo a "friend" put on it when he painted it for me. It is falling out now. Maybe it needs a thread.
