I saw on the news that it had disappeared. I don't know if that means stolen or removed. BLM said from the beginning they were concerned that someone might be hurt trying to visit it. That reminds me of the bus the bear guy was living in in Alaska and got eaten by the bears. Several people had to be "rescued" trying to visit the bus so they removed it with a helicopter. With all the satellite imaging I'm pretty sure the BLM knows a lot more than they are saying. I'm sure it is all some kind of stunt. I had an old couch mysteriously turn up by the road to my place. It's on BLM land and I wish it would disappear.

NOTE: BLM here is Bureau of Land Management not the other newer more notorious rioters.

Stolen, or removed by whoever put it there. It's just amazing to me that they were able to get it out of there, with all of the publicity and all.

Another one popped up in commiefornia and then destroyed.
Funny how the news is all over the place on who did it , which was live streamed .
One news channel says --- it was a group of teenagers.
Another says it was a Christian group.
Another says --- a racist Christian group.
Another says --- Trump supporters.
Im sure others will say it's trumps fault.

Moab has always had purists that dont like any changes. Seeing the monolith disappear didn't surprise any Utah'ns. A few years ago they tried changing the sign to Negro Bill canyon (a tribute to the first black man to own a ranch in the area) and renaming it William Grandstaff canyon.
The new sign was stolen the first day it was up.😄

A new monolith was erected at a local stainless steel company. He says people can come look, take pics, give it a hug, what have you.

" And the names they are a'changin'" I think Bob Dylan wrote that or something like that. It sorta' goes with the old nursery rhyme "statues, statues they all fall down"  ::)
