Lookin good Ghost. What did you use for your firewall set back insert, or did you bend it up?  Looks nice.

A young friend of mine bought a '27 Ford roadster body and wants me to do some welding and fab work on it this spring. I hope I can, says he is in no hurry.

That's a nice looking roadster body. I think it would be fun to help him with it. The firewall plug was something I had laying around, not even sure where it came from, but it fit the build.

I have been so busy playing with my Buick I thought I had better get some things done on this little Model A, actually I have been working on both. I finished up the steering and decided to try to install some block huggers. I had to do a little grinding on the vega box mounts, and angle cut the header collector on the driver side, but I got them to fit along with the steering shafts and knuckles. This car will be fenderless, and he had the shock mounts but they weren't the headlight mount style, I found these neat little items that connect to the top of the shock mount for the headlights stems to bolt to.

John nice work, headers fit nice.  Cool to see a Chevy small block in that Ford!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

In the process of working on the ford coupewhich is going well. I have taken on a rather rusted 31 ford roadster body. Here is one of three of the patching panels I have been installing, along with repairing the trunk edges of the body that were smashed flat, and then modifying a 36 ford dash and installing it in the roadster.

Nice work. I have alway liked ti '30- '31 As. I like the late 30s dashes in the early cars too.
