Three weeks ago a guy I work with shows me pictures of a 1940 Packard his dad stuffed in the garage, and hasn't run, for the last 35 years. Beautiful car, zero rust. I said, "let me know if he ever wants to sell it", thinking he'll never sell or I couldn't afford it. Last week the same guy says, "my dad sold the Packard to some local Packard club for $2,000." My jaw dropped! I didn't have the guts to tell him what I really thought, I just said, "Oh, ok, good for your dad".
