No Video just some pics of our buddy Joe and my best friend Vic who shamed us into rescuing him. Joe was always with us when we worked around the place. He stole tools & our lunches. Once he got Vic's gloves & my wallet and headed for the bar. He even tried to get Rosa to run off with him in my pickup! Rosa & I miss them though it's been a few years now.  :(  ;D

Rattiac, 'ol Max was just content as hell there. You know a guy goes thru a lot of animals throughout his life. But there is always that "one" that was it. My Grandad called it the "Heart Dog". You never get over the missing that "one", I believe that what Max was for you.
Been over 5yrs since I had to put Duke (the inspector) down at 13. Still think of him about every day, he was my Heart Dog.

Getting another dog.....I went 4 years swearing no more dogs, to hard loosing them. When Rowdy needed a good home, i just had to and i really missed not having a dog around. Expense, yes it cost in Vet bills. Food is not that much really, i figure Rowdy cost me about .75 cents a day if i buy in bulk.

Rowdy ain't much in the inteligents depatment, (dumber than a box of rocks), he is a goof and amuses me, sweet and good company. To be honest, if i did not have him around there would be days i wouldn't get out of bed from the pain. But he'll bounce me with that wet nose in the morn to take him out to pee, i have to get up and endure the pain to take him out. Win win for both of us.

Six ball, nice dogs. Oh the cone of shame😁 After 6 months Rowdy developed separation anxienty when i would leave him more than 45 mins. He would start chewing on himself, (to the point of bloody bald spots). Vet recomended drugs and cone of shame. Not into the drug them thing. I still had some convertible top window plastic and was going to sew up a cone for him, then decided on the big donut thing. Worked with him hard, only leaving for short times with the donut on and eventually gained in his thought process that i would return and not abandon him.

Sammons, Every one needs a buddy. Giving a dog that that needs a good home a place is a good way to find one. Nothing in that second picture of mine in still alive, not even the truck, but all were loved here. Expense? It's over $1,000 every time a dog gets bitten by a rattle snake. Joe was bitten twice before he learned to let me deal with them. The collar was from a coyote fight and he was the winner!
Separation? My son left his Boxer & his guitar with us for a week or so. One day I was playing his guitar and his dog was missing him,

Love the guitar case pic.👍
This video I took a Wednesday off to meet up with this group from Bosie, Idaho.
Drove 3 hrs just to get there and 16.5hrs the whole trip.  One of the most remote but intact set of Utah
mines.
Explored the whole mountain range that day.
Newfoundland mountains.

Wild country! Thanks! It is sad how many of those kinds of old places around here have been hauled away, even the stones, for yard art, Man Caves, & land cap materials.  :(

Here's the off-road race I went to.
Fortunately there weren't any crashes in our section of the course.  Most were early in the race.

Lol, ride the bowl Rattiac😁  Looks like a good spot to watch, and you didn't have to work.

I'm going to blame this on you. Watching your adventures Youtube pops this up, cazy guy from the UK. He must really like that area as i looked and he has several videos there. Buys a 8hp mini Jeep in Ogden and is attempting 1000 miles over top of the lake to Wendover then going to Moab.

First swaps for 25hp chinese hot engine (junk), puts 8hp back in (part 1) Part 2 is where i started (trip starts) ends at Wendover until next update.

Amusing, but why?
It seems to me, working for a living would be a lot easier than going thru this to not work🤔

I've been seeing that video as well.  Also thought why ?
He'll have a hard time along hwy 6 or  I-70. Probably even more annoying on a trail.

Now the guy's that re-did the "scooter scene" from dumb and dumber,  that was entertaining 🤣.

Lol, ok i had to look that one up. At least it was two of them and a chase van. Dang, 3 rear tires🤯   I always thought you wore them down from spinning them all the time, not just straight down the road.
