Ed Rolling frames are the easiest and cheapest to ship! All other shipping you must crate it and yes the cost is a lot more! Here’s a sample of what I was looking to ship a frame from Ohio to here in Massachusetts! Shipping options:
If you need the item shipped, you can make shipping arraignments and get a quote with Freightquote.com. at 816-949-6617 and speak to Kevin Ruby at ext.6617. Freight quotes are typically only valid for 30 days.
This item would be Class 300, NMFC 191730, approximately 16’ long x 6’ wide and 3’ high with the skeletal crate. It would weight approximately 1075 lbs.
We do recommend having it insured for the total replacement value. Because of current shipping regulations, LTL freight carriers will not pick up an item this size without a skidded, skeletal crate! Plus the shipping company needs a lift gate and a machine plus the end location most likely has to be a shipping docking station!
Hope this helps!
