Small town show
« on: August 13, 2016, 01:16:30 PM »
Finally made it up to a car show this morning. It always amazed me that a little town with a population of 199 can pull in a good crowd out in the middle of know where.

Last pic, my high school friend got brave and drove his old 1916 model T over (45 miles one way). Haha, he said he left early
 ;D

I took a pic of the '72 455 T/A to send to my brother. His is just like it only with a blue interior and an automatic. Last 2 pics are of his T/A we went through 9 years ago.

Glad you got out, and took some nice pic's. Cool cars. 1954 pontiac or oldsmobile hardtop???? Nice, but something doesn't look right

Kool pics Sammons!  Nice backdrop for the Firebird.
Tom
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

A couple years back, I got there at 9:30am and was entrent # 97. But this morning it looked like around 60 cars.

Ghost, that's what I thought too. It was reg as a '54 Pontiac  Cheifton. It looks like '54 Chevy fenders front and rear to me?

Tom, that pic of my brothers was taken early this summer at the Estrella War Museum in Poso Robles Ca. They have a racecar exibit there also. Cool place.

Sammons A bunch of neat cars. Looks like a great little run. Have you ever been to the run in Atwood which is my first home town. I was born in Colby, so I have a soft spot in my heart for Kansas. Ron

Ron, I never made a show that far north. I use to go up to Colby weekends when my girlfriend attended college there.

Fatnlow, did you get any heat relief down there? Been nice and in the 80's most of last week here.

I was looking at the pics again this morning, poor wheel choise sure take away from some of them I posted. #1 bad I would say goes to that '58 Impala.

Atwoods a good show, and they have some good 1/8th mile drags if the weather cooperates.

Ron, you guys will have to let me know when the show is next year. I don't stand much of a chance to have my coupe done next year, but I might.

Ed, glad you got some cooler air! Hate to hear about the sholders. A friend of mine went through all kinds of PT to avoid surgury, but in the end had to have it. I'm going through the hurry up and wait with stuff here also.
