Six Covered Bridges On One Ride
« on: July 20, 2022, 04:12:10 PM »
The car show my daughter and I used to go to together got permanently canceled.  We would go to this show to spend some time together and she'd buy me lunch instead of a father's day gift.  We decided to start a new tradition and go for a ride in the 33 instead.  Of course she still had to buy me lunch!
Our ride took us into southwest New Hampshire and lasted from 10am to 3 pm.  We drove through 6 covered bridges and many beautiful back roads.  It was a great day spent together!
The outside temp went as high as 98° but the Chevy engine temp never went over 205°.

Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Very cool.  We don't get that kind of stuff out here.

Very nice! So green! Sometimes I forget that other places have plants.  ::) Too bad someone kept parking that old car in front of the bridges you were photographing.  ::)

Cool, glad you got to spend the day with your daughter.
Those covered bridges are cool. The only one i recall seeing in person was a vacation,(1966?) we took up to Osakis Minnesota where dads family still lived.

33 looks great too😁
