Volvo V70 wagon roofs circa '01-'07. fit perfectly on my Buick Marquette sedan.
Might not be s plentiful there though.
But then I seem to have no way to get hold of a Vortec 4100 engine, the sixes
in the more modern GM trucks or SUVs, and I would guess you could drown in
a sea of  them over there.
I don't think I ever even saw a Tahoe. Sounds funny when I say it.

Well, summer is gonna hit one of these days. I decided to call up the shop that fixed my fender. I lost the number and google mapped it. Took a drive there and they are gone.
Crap.... Thought about calling up Kindigit but someone talked me into another metal guy.
I'll dig out the car next week. Working on the getting the Cherokee up for sale. Had the rock-sliders powder coated a nice metallic green color.
Normally I'd spray paint em, but they were rusty and they'll get sand blasted.
I'll throw the trickle charger on it and possibly fire it up today.
It's raining so my detail job on the jeep is out.

I have a bad habit of getting my vehicle's in great shape when I sell em. Kinda paying respect to a reliable service life it's given me.
So far it's had a new exhaust, ball joints, tie rods and u joints.

It never ends and we never catch up. Doing a lot around the place but auto projects are still stalled. I pulled my '70 Blazer off the hill a few months ago to get it back on the road. (or off road) I got  a couple of  things done but mostly it sits.

Hope the new metal guy works for you!

I've often thought that owning one nice car would be perfect.
Working on it every now and then, keeping it in perfect shape
and improving on it But no, can't do it.
I always needs more cars.

If the ideal number of cars is F and you own X number of cars,
the way to calculate ithis ideal number is:
X+1=F

This is a true dilemma.

I do that too, rattiac, clean and fix my cars when I?m
going to sell them.
I should do that regularly, they?d be much nicer to own that way.

Wasn't looking for these but saw these Edelbrock valve covers for the 231 V6. So I bought myself a birthday present. Poor car needs some attention.
Cherokee is just about done and ready to sell. Kinda cringing on dealing with idiots again. On the plus side, value has gone up on these.

Small upgrades like that, nice new valve covers, Does look good and make things more fun and inspirational.
Besides, it's always fun to buy oneself small birthday presents.
The whole car will feel nicer after you get the new parts on, I'm sure.

The notice for my antique plates came weeks ago and just today im getting to it.
Online a whole $10. 😁
Jeep is done and ready to sell. Feel like a small restore I did in that. Ball joints, tie rod, roof rack swap, rock sliders powder coated, seat panel, headliner, oil change and a detail done twice from dust hiding up above.
Next on the list is the trailer axle bent, swapping in a new unit.  Have a tree to cut down before I get a landscaper to rebuild the front yard. Leaking sprinkler system and horrible flower beds in the front. Hire a pro so I can get to the 32.
Fixing neglected things around the house. Life somewhat getting back to normal-ish. Whatever that is these days.
Trailer should be done in time for test n' tune at Bonneville. He's done some things to the streamliner and hopefully we can get to 200mph . Salt was thin and rough last year. Getting to 500 may not be doable at Bonneville anymore. There's hope but the salt will tell us if there's any chance of that.
Bolivia is the newest smoothest, longest salt left but the locals shaft the millionaires that bring car's there for every nickel they can get.
Drone pic of my last campout.

Installed the new valve covers. Almost forgot.
Bonneville kicked our butt. We was hoping he could do a 200mph.
High winds hit Friday. Made one run Saturday at 171 then winds hit again. Sunday wasn't any better.
