This is now called "Cultural Approriation" by cancel culture radicals, but like much of our own respect & recognition of the formitibale power, strength, and determination of Native Peoples these New Zealand athletes chose to show their respect and include their Country's diversity by a positive inclusion of Native culture. I don't know if they were allowed to do it this time.

I was on vacation in Florida while walking a boardwalk I noticed a Air Force Honor Guard standing and waiting to go on stage. I walked on by and decided to set on a bench while my wife went into a little shop. There was a lot of noise from the crowd around me as I set there I heard the Star Spangled Banner being played I stood up removed my cap and looked for our flag. I was surrounded by people who kept on walking and talking showing no respect to what was happening.

As retired school teacher I can tell you this has been in the works for many years. It only takes a few years to create a population that has no contact with its past and no feeling for its Country. We are there.

Amen! Look at the criminal justice system right now. I think all of it can be traced back to family values/structure.

I agree. Culture, Family and religion has been under attack from the left and now our government/schools. The next to the last class I had was the best one I ever had. By some fluke there was only one student the was not from a two parent family. That one had a hard working mom who lived near her parents and they helped with their two grandchildren. This class was so different in behavior and work ethic that I almost put off retirement. The next years class was back to the norm and retirement was a blessing.
In order for our country to function there has to be a core of cultural values & knowledge that is shared by the majority. Our Constitution is based on these values. That is gone and there is no way to get it back.

It's a shame we let this happen to our country, I'm wondering how the world will be when my grandchildren are grown?

I'm a little more optimistic. We can get it back by electing strong leaders who put our country and ideals first. I also believe, to some extent, that we follow a pendulum: things swing one way and get pretty bad....then they swing the other way and get pretty good.

I'm not optimistic at all. I feel the election process has been damaged beyond the point where either side will trust and believe results. Every new group of first time voters are dumber than the last due to the failure of the public education system.
