Looks nice and sounds mighty healthy.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Here’s my 34 Chevrolet Roadster Banjo tan steering wheel with a match for tan leather material throughout my Roadster! Plus my old Roadster door panel with new Holden Lion logo to be embroidered into both door panels and the inside trunk divider on the top!
Will do the logo embroidery in the brown carpet color!
Just trying to overall keep it clean and simple!
Plus some pictures of my new door panels design and yeah door pockets throughout mainly because I have no glove compartment and being a Roadster with the roof top down most of the time items can get easily blown out!
Oh plus will fit the “GMH “ logo into the logo Rock!
Been there done that with my other Convertable! RoarsRods

Change of plans! The last 4 weeks have been working out several issues on my Roadster! The new 700R4 front seal had a small drip and replaced it with a new one plus the Classic Instruments odometer and speedometer was not working just to name a few! Yeah filling up with premium 93 octane gas and trying to be cool 😎 like Toms 33 Chevrolet Cabriolet! LoL Almost ready for all my new upholstery!

Great lookin' ride!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Just got my sample Holden Lion Rock logo embroidered on my tan leather for my door panels and the rear trunk divider! I had it scanned from my 86 years old lower left side cowl tag! Here’s a few pictures! RoarsRods

Just put 70 miles on my new 400 SBC motor Roadster build and ended up fractured the piston ring land and was possibly caused due to hydrolock from my Blueprint motor mturn key Holley 750 CFM vacuum secondary’s screws backing out which in turn caused my float to stay open and flooding out the motor and causing the hydrolock condition! Ordered a brand new piston from Blue Print motor company with the same exact parts and weight of the original build! No damage to the cylinder wall plus this all happened when it was just idling and my motor just started to to have steam coming out of the crank case filter which led to a big difference in cylinder compression test! So pulled the motor apart and still in my car which was the easiest way! Got my car all back together and now running great with about another 20 miles on it! You would figure that they would have used mechanical vacuum secondary’s being a race motor!  RoarsRods

rory............2 diff systems..............VACUUM SECONDARIES are opened with vacuum, MECHANICAL secondaries are just that ,   move gas pedal X amount and they open all 4 barrels.   That sucking sound is money leaving your wallet at the pumps.

For fuel economy and street use , vacuum secondary's with the right springs are best.  For drag racing and all out competition use the mechanical dual pumper , but your not going to get fuel economy.

I have not had the rear bowl assembly off a holley carb in years...........is this the rear bowl area. ?

God bless you man, you're taking it a lot better than I would. I'm glad there is no major damage.

Thanks Chopper! It’s only a car yeah with tons of time/labor plus materials! Now again have for the 3rd time have Classic Instruments Gages speedometer not working! So now waiting for that to come back! Yeah got a video of me driving with the brand new piston with 10 miles on that new parts and now running nice!
Out doing some real world testing. After adjusting shock damping, brake bias, corner weight, steering assist and alignment settings, this car handles curves with confidence.

Putting some more miles on my Roadster! Boy is it bloody hot here in Massachusetts! In the 90’s feeling like 100s with high dew point 90s! Back country roads with tree shade is the best with this kind of heat! Put it up on my lift just to check up if there’s any issues! Plus scared the living shi#! out of me when jumping on it! Still learning the power and for sure don’t want to crack it up! RoarsRods
