Essex my brother in California wanted to try it on his older Dodge Ram pickup for faded missing C/C. Of course not for sale in Ca, like everything else🙄 Got luckey at an estate sale and bought 8qts for $16. Worked good for him.

Your Buick looks great!
Yep, there always seems to be something. Some cars just don't seem to like people. I've had a couple and sold them. New ownerd never had problem, go figure.

My Camaro is real rough ride in the rear, spring boardy. It has overload spring over the shock. I suspect saggy leaf pack. New are averaging $400 a pair now plus truck freight🤯
Been researching re-arching them, looks like you can cold bend them at home using a cheap Harbor freight pipe bender. Found free load, (on floor specs) so i may just do that as my buddy has one.

Sammons, that Camaro is looking bad ass. I like that color scheme.
Might have to do that to my Dakota, about the same color.

Went to the World Finals. Despite the scta being vague on if it was going to happen.
Saturday everyone was turned around until notice. We went for a quick drive along the silver Island mtns, came back drank beer the rest of the day watching them dragging a section of salt a 1/4 mile away. They made a new access road to avoid the water at lands end. Sunday morning they were racing.
Here's Saturday. Part 2 will be released Thursday.

Essex the Buick looks great coming down the road!  Sammons the Camaro is coming along great!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Thanks Rattiac, Tom.
Rattiac, that Rally Sport  two tone wasn't a bad look.
Nice video also.

I got the Camaro washed up again, did a lot of errands in it. Then decided to try a few highway miles close to home. First 6 was normal, then commenced to run the crap out of it to check things the last 15 miles. Runs strong up to 4,500 to 5,000rpm and then absolutely falls on it's face till rpm goes under that. Carb/valve sprimhs/lifters/ coil or module?  Sounds like a "Tom" problem to solve, thats why i pay him the big bucks😆
It got up to 200-205? while i was running the crap out of it at the higher rpm's. As soon as i quit it dropped right back down to 185?. I know the block/radiator will need flushed, but i think thats good for not touching any of that and wakeing up from a 25yr old sleep😁

Finally found the rear leaf springs i wanted at a reasonable price, $139 ea with free shipping.
I wanted height to remain where it was with the coil overload shocks. Did a lot of research, knowing Z28/Trans Ams were running the thicker 4 leaf pack rather than the thinner Lt comfort 5 pack leaf. Lt had a stock free arch of 6.25 to 8.25" and a spring rate of 90lbs. Z/TA around 6.25 to 6.75 and spring rate of 130lbs.
Z/TA were a bit stiff and wasn't too happy with that, but Lt too soft.

What i came up with was the thicker 4 leaf pack, free arch of 8.5, (on the set i recieved), and a spring rate of 110lbs. I think that is where i want to be, a little improved handling and not too harsh.🤞
