Lol, thats what dad always said... if it comes apart, it can be fixed.
When i first built my '57, i was gonna leave the 3 on the tree and overdrive in it. Never had time to get to why the overdrive wasn't working, that may have been the problem with that solinod. One day when i made a left turn to the post office the steering wheel screwed out of gearbox vs tires turning🤯  so all right turns back to the shop. Decided to put in a 605 power steering gear and might as well put in my M22 4-speed while i was at it.
