Ed, i'm sorry I didn't remember that trick. The old stuff didn't need to do that, but newer weak formulas it worked good on.  I was always out of the cheap drop cloths and just put another coat on ::)  Mikes roughing up the surface also helped (just took me longer).

I just looked up sunnyside corp. Looks like direct from company $23 per gallon. If anybody tries this stuff before me, PLEASE post results.

If that works...can't beat the price for a gallon.  Ace doesn't carry it - I'll look around some...shipping and haz mat fee can't be cheap.

Looking at the site you provided Ace is listed as a retailer..I'll see if they can order it for me.

Tell ya...try covering it with that cheap clear plastic....you'll see a huge difference...it will stay wet all by itself.

Removing black paint in the slots on a set of wheels ....got into moms plastic wrap and I am using that to slow the drying of the stripper ...working better.... photo is next wheel that needs to be done...

Just tried some of the 2Minute Remover...I'll stick with the Zip Strip which seems to work deeper.

Not to beat a dead horse....using the Zip Strip with that plastic sheet covering process is hands down the only way to do it.  It will get right down to the metal with one application and what can't be removed with a scraper comes off nicely with an air brush with soft needles.
