Better than littering up the country side.
Now if they could get rid of those ugly wind farms

With Trump getting rid of the subsidy to wind farms they will go away as soon as the ones already up break down. Solar already did that once. My first solar panels came from a solar farm that shot down when the Federal subsidy was cut off in the '80s.  just replaced them a year or so ago.

We are on a trip now and are in Amarillo. TX. I saw more solar panels and fewer wind turbines until we crossed into Texas. There is something special about the high plains that is just ruined by those things.

I fought against a plan to place over 90 turbines on the mountain range behind our place in Nevada. Basically all I had to do was make a slide show of the mountains from different parts on our area with some shots of other mountains with giant turbines on top. When the county commissioners saw that they would be seen from almost everywhere in the county as well as 4 other counties and near lake Tahoe it was a major part of rejecting the project. I have a wind plant in my yard I bought from Australia in the '70s. It is still there to remind me of one of the dumbest things I ever did. Our place is solar powered with a generator backup. it runs all I need except a good compressor.
The probability of life originating from accident is comparable to the probability of the unabridged dictionary resulting from an explosion in a printing shop.  Edwin Conklin
