I believe that's a Pontiac hood...The 1932 Chevy hood does not have the raised rectangular  area around the hood doors.

Ok, I haven't a clue. At least you guys know, thanks Moose. I'll change the heading. I would like to know if other than cosmetics, will it fit a 32 Chevy?

I thinking finding out the length of a 1932 Chevrolet hood would be easier than finding the specs  for a 32 pontiac or a 32 oldsmobile, both of those cars had doors in the hood.. for 32.

In 1932 Pontiac offered 2 motors the V8 from the Oakland and the regular twin head six in the Pontiac.  An examination of the wheel bases might lead to some info. Also a search for 1932 pont and 1932 olds pictures on line would shed some light  Never know could be a Cadillac or a LaSalle ???

For 1932 olds offered a straight six and a straight 8 so that might make for a longer hood.

When in doubt post the length of the side panels in any ads.

Mike

I believe that both the Cadillac and Oldsmobile have 5 hood doors. It looks like the accent line at the side hood hing in the picture is much wider than the Chevy. If I remember correctly the Pontiac roadster had the wide trim but not sure about the other models

WAYNER........a 1932 Chevrolet coupe body was made by FISHER , the roadster and touring bodies are made by  an outside supplier . The rumble seat lid should not be the same as a coupe.

On my 35 roadster the rumble seat lid is 2" narrower and 1 1/4" shorter than a coupe. The pattern shape of the quarter panels is different than a closed car.

I would have to assume that this would apply to the 1932 model year also.
