I'll be spending the 4th with family enjoying the cookout, the pool and most of all the adult beverages. Don't have to travel far just across the street.

Hope you all stay safe, specially you guys in the north east.

Got the '58 washed up this afternoon. Now if I get my yard work done in the morning and can find somebody to help lift the hard top off, I might get a chance to cruise in the afternoon.

Nice pictures guys. I really like that vette. I'd be cruising it with the top or not, it wouldn't matter. We got over 60 people coming to our backyard party and a few might drive there hotrods. It usually takes a while to get the grass back in order after one of these., but it is definately worth the work. Stay safe you guys.

Happy Birthday America! Please excuse us for not living up to what our forefathers expected. No people on Earth have ever been handed such a precious gift only to squander it a single generation. It will never happen again.  :(

Sammons  all you need to do is back in the garage  run a belt under the roof after you roll the windows down and have a hook for the rear bolt down and lift the top off all by yourself..That or smoke the tires with the roof up

Well that looks pretty slick. 4 yrs ago I used to take it off my self, now days the coffee pot is a challenge.  I'll just get help, I'm afraid i'd drop it. I need an electric wench maybe.

The tops not bolted down, and when I smoked the tires this spring, the wheel hop really rattled the top. Very annoying!  Your headlinner looks like mine, but them new ones are expensive.

I think one of those chepo winches from Harbour Freight would be the ticked  not to much could go wrong The roof is not that heavy and the winch would always be in the garage. At present i have two hardtops both different colors  one the color of the cove the other the color of the car. Also have three hoods and a spare hood for a 58 one of.Also lots of spare parts. Its like the 32 I have been collecting parts for years. I have had the 59 since 79 and the 32 chevy roadster before that.I am a chevy kind of guy.We have a lowrider a chevy stepside a couple of cadillacs a gmc blazer and ONE 1980 FORD stepside shortbox soon to be a roadster truck.Everyone can't be perfect  lol lol  mooseman
