Title: Found my window regulators
Post by: EDNY on October 30, 2013, 07:57:36 AM
FYI

Didn't want to install electric windows in my chopped 33 and have been looking at various common regulators.  Looks like I will settle in with Saturn rear door regulators.  The 95 and earlier have the gear tooth style crank and the 96 & later use the ribbon track (similar to the electric window kits).

Should have no problem locating a donor car so I can remove all of the hardware.

Ed,
That's good info.  I plan to run crank up windows in mine.  Let me know how they work out.

Yes it's a Cabriolet.  I have the original ones but they are in rough shape and attached to the wood.

I used a gear type on my 28,of course in 62 thats all there was.I would think the gear would be easier because all you have to do is modify the arm to get the proper travel.
