Title: what are they?

I got a chance to mess with the car today for a couple hours,and changeing out the front wheels and tire with some that hold air was on my list.These wheels that were on it though,any clue what they are? Got to be early chevy,they are 6 lug, 15" by about 6" and have the riveted tabs for the little hub caps. Theyve been on there for 50 yrs,stored inside,so they are in like new condition.

My guess would be late 40's to early 50's chevy truck 1/2 ton

So does that make them worth saveing?
