When a bunch of hot rodders get together for a BS session the conversation is always peppered with some colorful words and phrases that are unique to the hobby. Slam a gear, dump the clutch, chopped and channeled are just a few of examples. I’m sure there are a lot of phrases that are unique to certain parts of the country or from earlier times or just used in everyday conversations about cars. Just for the fun of it let’s make a list of some that you use or have heard over the years.
