Title: Where to buy 1-1/4" tubing with 5/8" hole? HEIDTS!

Picked up a nice set of used Heidts Econo control arms. In order to mount them in the cross member I need to fabricate cross member pins and gussets.

Gussets no problem...but would like to locate two lengths of tubing with 1.25" outside diameter, 5/8" inner hole approx. 8" long each.Can locate the two piece  sets...but prefer to mount one piece pins though the cross-member .

This is a bit of an odd ball size.  Your best bet would be to just get some round bar and chuck it in a lathe and drill it yourself, but I did find one site that had it listed.

Just called Heidts and just received the best service from anyone in a long time.  Super phone support, got my (exact) parts en route for a great price!

Also sent them a separate email requesting the pdf instructions for my used lower arms and BAMB ..they arrived!

Really impressed with the Heidts company.

Those kinds of stories are getting to be few and far between. Glad to hear that there are still some good and honest companies out there. Even better... you didn't even need an interpreter to deal with them ???

The parts from Heidts arrived today! (fast)

FYI:

Part CA-015 is called Spacer Tube, Control Arm (Nova Subframe)
Part CA-040 is called Gusset, Control Arm

Part HD-284 is 5/8-11 X 13" HHCS, Grade 5 Zinc Plated bolt

Needed the 13" bolt length because the standard 12" was too short.  The one piece spacer tubes are actually 1" X 5/8" X 7-3/16"
