Don't know if it needs a spot in Mooses Tech section...but for $2 - I think it qualifies as ratrod pin stripng! ;D

Practice makes perfect ;)
-
The visor needs a couple moon eyes.
-
Looks good Billy!

it is my understanding that marker ink will bleed through paint
when i repaint this car in the near future i will use some of those paint pens.
i have zero insterest in learning how to use one of those fancy pants pin striping brushes.
i just wanna outline the existing lines on the cab etc.

I like it! What a great idea.
-
Is that a '28?
-
Is that a '28?
i been calling it a 27
but really i dont know
-
The doors, hinges, door handle, lower windshield mldg all look to be '28. The firewall is definitly 28 and to my knowledge the only year for that embossed design. The visor is not 28.28 had a separate visor that was screwed on and used brackets on each corner. The holes in the cowl are for the little marker lights that arnt there.

i have the rusted to death marker lights in a box
the visor is from a junk pile.
-
Nice ideas. I believe the visor might be from a early 30's plymouth?

i bought the metallic ink pens for marking my tools and stuff.
and when i saw how much like gold paint it looked like i figured what the hey?
and tried it on a hidden part of the chevy.
this stuff looks an awful lot like paint
i didnt stop and start much so i didnt get many of those marks.
