People born since 1960 have no idea how much freedom the public has lost and how much power the government has gained over us. They know what you buy with a credit card or check. They know what you buy on line. They know what is in every package delivered. They can tell how much cash is in your pocket. All of your emails & phone calls are recorded. Your new cars can be traced. If they wanted they could round us up easier than they are the illegals. If you have purchased a gun legally since the 80s they know.
My bad used to buy dynamite at the hardware store. Maybe that was not so good? ;D It is a different world.

I was born about that time. First thing i remember was dads buddies complaining about new car laws on noise and the draft. By the late 60's they outlawed Cherry bomb fireworks, yet you could still buy M80s🙄
In the 70s, as a kid... we would get our .22s and strap them to our Stingrays to shoot at the dump. Stop by the hardware store snd buy as much ammo that we could afford. Sometimes we would pool our money to buy a brick😁 then new law you had to sign for it, few years later you had to be 18. Then you could drive at 14 with a restricted licence, then the legal alcohol level was .1, then .08. Then you could no longer buy 3.2% beer, had to be 21. Then EPA shut down our dump😡 Really snow balled from there.
Cameras, smart tv, cell phones are listening and track you. I tell people if you are talking about something, you best leave your cell phones in another room and close the door. If your talking about tires etc, it will pop up tire ads the next time you turn phone on😡

In the 60s when my friend was drafted and sent to Viet Nam he could by all the ammo he wanted. When he got home he was still not 21 and the laws had changed. He could not buy ammo of handguns. He could buy 22 ammo if he said it was for a rifle. He'd been through Hell and could not buy a beer.

I never understood that, you could vote at 18, get drafted and fight in a war, but in most states couldn't buy a beer till 21🙄
At least in Kansas, if you were 18 you could buy 3.2% beer.
My buddie Tom, (5yrs my junior) was 2 weeks from 18 when the law changed. He had to wait 3 yrs to buy a beer 😁 He was pissed.
