Title: Biden praises high gas prices as part of ‘incredible transition’

Just to be clear...this gasoline situation is not an accident or Putin's fault...it was intentionally created by Pres Biden and his crew.

We are not ready for electric vehicles, if they are so great...they'll sell themselves.  The US takes in about 40 Billion each year from fuel sales to maintain roads etc.  That 40 billion bill will be passed on to electric vehicles driving their operating costs way up.

BTW: Chevy is ending the little car "Spark" production (the least expensive car in the US) this August so they can concentrate on the more expensive EV's and the other more expensive Chevy line.

Several western states are warning about blackouts this summer partly because of the ongoing drought resulting in less impounded water to produce hydro-electric power.

My '53 would not start today. It was out of gas? I just filled it a few days ago at $5.09 a gallon. I poured in a couple of gallons from a can and discovered a leak. It was a rotten gas line at the fuel filter. I thought I was saving money by not driving it.  ::)

We are a rural area of upstate NY and depend on oil to heat our homes. Electricity is very expensive and not dependable - we heat with wood and/or fuel oil.

Those idiots in DC have no idea how much we depend on oil and at $7 per gallon some poor folks are in a dangerous "transition" situation.  To add more insult the idiots in Albany are moving to outlaw oil and wood source heating.  We have a large Amish community up here that depends on wood for heat.

Oh yeah...we also have windmills that turn on your lights if the wind is blowing.  Maybe that "global warming" will kick in?
