Years ago a guy from another site shared his garage remodel. It was really nice and budget friendly. I can't find it anymore.
Any garage setup/tips you guy's liked?
Been slowly cleaning out mine but it still needs alot of drywall done and paint.
So far I have it divided into 2 sections. The garage door side is for heavy repairs/welding and the other is for upholstery and clean projects.

I'm involved in rearranging my space now. My hoarding side has packed it with "things I may need someday". I have finally gotten to the spot where I have no room to work and way more things than "some days" left. I have a bunch of my sons' things too. The space is really pretty decent. The main shop though small is 24'x24' 2x6 construction and insulated. Easy to heat, good lighting and several windows. It is the main work space. Attached is a 36'x 24' machine shed divided into three 12' stalls two with a concrete floor. Above the main shop is a 16'x24' "studio" mainly for gun work, reloading, art, books, and music. It's a lot of room for one old guy but it's packed. My goal right not is to spend some time every day sorting and hauling at least one load a week to the dump. I'm also looking for homes for some of the stuff too good to throw away. Another strategy is to assemble & rebuild all of the loose components for the roadster and other projects and mockup some things because assembled things take less space than scattered pieces. Also whoever gets it all will know what pieces are related. Some may become yard art. I'll never wake up again with nothing to do! ;D

The wife and son had a garage sale...I put some stuff out and surprising made some $$$..benches sold... 5 nail guns that I won't use....saved the best ones...Ariens weed wacker....made room in the storage shed for more treasures

That is a good tactic. I need to find someone having yard sale and haul them a load or two. ::) My yard is a bit remote to attract the yard sale crowd. I did find a place yesterday that will take all metal pieces and even pay for some of it. :)

I have a two stall that I work in. I keep my 33 in the left hand stall and the right hand stall is for working on stuff and storing the grandkids toys. I have a work bench in the left stall and my tool box in between the two stalls for easy access. I keep my welder in there and my sandblast cabinet. All my sheet metal tools (Brake, Rollers, Drill Presses and Shear) are in a shop in the basement of my house. That gives me plenty of room to do what I need.

My house is getting a new roof so made room to pull the trailer into the shop.
Had a big box of stuff I needed to go through and to my surprise it was all complete junk inside. Why did I keep that???
Im sure I was in a hurry when we moved from our first house. SMH. :-\
Wasn't sure if the trailer was gonna clear the door at first but it fits. Yay.

One of these days 😉😄.
I have 2 more on the floor to go through and a diamond plate truck box (brothers) to toss.
Then go through my steel pile by the wall. Ive been saving up random broken jeep parts, gears, differentials, bearings, etc to weld up a rat rod style statue. Who knows I may donate it to the desert somewhere for all to admire. Lol. 😄
And then.... I can get to my table with the drum set on it. Drums were my thing back in the day. 🥁

While you're picking up those boxes at Sixball's swing by my place, you left a couple here too!
It's sometimes hard to get rid of junk because I swear that saying is true, as soon as you get rid of it you need it.

With the amount if resources here I should never have to go to the store again but I have found that I've used up all the common sizes. :(
