Title: Holley Sniper Fuel Injection System
Post by: 62131 on January 30, 2017, 08:50:36 PM
Well I decided on the Holley Sniper system for my 32.   I'm going with a new tank and electric fuel pump from Tanks Inc. and the Holley 550-510. I decided on the in tank pump due to the fact that my buddy has the Atomic system with the pump mounted on the frame rail and It's really noisy inside the car.

Sounds great...keep us posted.

FYI:  I put a 95 Z28 LT1 driveline in my son's 37 Chevy and mounted a Ford E2000 electric fuel pump on the frame "with rubber mounts".  The E2000 pump was a cheap Chinese unit ($30) that was really noisy (whine)!

I replaced it with a genuine ACDelco EP286 Fuel Pump (cross reference unit) for about $90 and the noise is gone. I have a ACDelco EP286 on my 33 Chevy with TPI and it is also quiet.

Tell your buddy he might try to pick up a quality cross referenced pump. You get what you pay for.

I was looking at those units and wondering how well they would work.  Let us know how it all goes together and runs.

I put the Aeromotive Phantom unit inside my tank in the 30 when I decided to go with the FiTech unit.  Much less noise...

Received my new Tanks Inc. tank today  EFI system is on back order at the moment. Fuel pump should be here any day. At least I can get that installed while I'm waiting.
