Finally made it up to a car show this morning. It always amazed me that a little town with a population of 199 can pull in a good crowd out in the middle of know where.
Last pic, my high school friend got brave and drove his old 1916 model T over (45 miles one way). Haha, he said he left early
;D

I took a pic of the '72 455 T/A to send to my brother. His is just like it only with a blue interior and an automatic. Last 2 pics are of his T/A we went through 9 years ago.

Good pics... Looks like a good turn out with a variety of cars..good day for this event
-
Looks like there was a good turn out for such a small town
-
Glad you got out, and took some nice pic's. Cool cars. 1954 pontiac or oldsmobile hardtop???? Nice, but something doesn't look right
-
Kool pics Sammons! Nice backdrop for the Firebird.

A couple years back, I got there at 9:30am and was entrent # 97. But this morning it looked like around 60 cars.
Ghost, that's what I thought too. It was reg as a '54 Pontiac Cheifton. It looks like '54 Chevy fenders front and rear to me?
Tom, that pic of my brothers was taken early this summer at the Estrella War Museum in Poso Robles Ca. They have a racecar exibit there also. Cool place.

Sammons A bunch of neat cars. Looks like a great little run. Have you ever been to the run in Atwood which is my first home town. I was born in Colby, so I have a soft spot in my heart for Kansas. Ron

Ron, I never made a show that far north. I use to go up to Colby weekends when my girlfriend attended college there.
Fatnlow, did you get any heat relief down there? Been nice and in the 80's most of last week here.
I was looking at the pics again this morning, poor wheel choise sure take away from some of them I posted. #1 bad I would say goes to that '58 Impala.
-
Atwoods a good show, and they have some good 1/8th mile drags if the weather cooperates.
-
I went many years ago and I guess its grown. I didn't know about the drags. I hope to make it next year. Ron

Steve...finally cooler weather here 98-105 degrees down to 68 in the am and 80's during the day...and was glad to see it...
Haven't hit a lick on the '33..we have cooler weather now but have other issues to deal with...wife surgery for the hip is on Sept. 6..and I had Mri done on my shoulders...Left one I have 2 tears in the muscles..right one has 1 tear.. only fix is surgery...but can't do right now....falling apart over here.... just taking one day at a time right now
-
Ron, you guys will have to let me know when the show is next year. I don't stand much of a chance to have my coupe done next year, but I might.
Ed, glad you got some cooler air! Hate to hear about the sholders. A friend of mine went through all kinds of PT to avoid surgury, but in the end had to have it. I'm going through the hurry up and wait with stuff here also.
-
Sammons Will do on the Atwood show.
FATnLOW Glad for the weather cooling down. A friend up the hill has a shoulder tear. That's gotta be really painful. Hope you do better and get it taken care of soon. I know, very frustrating when you can't do what you want. Good luck to the wife in Sept. Ron

Great pics, and a great show for a small town.
I thought I live in a small town, just over five thousand people.
Red 37 took my eye, but I could never understand those car bra things, kinda like hiding your new lounge furniture under blankets. :)
-
Ed,
Sorry to hear about your shoulders. Hope your wife's surgery goes well next month.
